"Illusive" and "elusive" are both words, but with completely different meanings. From the Oxford English Dictionary:
Do not confuse elusive with illusive. Elusive means 'hard to find, catch, or achieve' ( what I was looking for proved elusive), whereas illusive means 'not real, although seeming to be' ( the illusive nature of the material world).

Anyway, keep up the good work. Hope to see you out on the trail one day.

Let me know when and where your going and we can make that happen. Always interested in meeting up with a hiker/ OB'er. I also have seen around 200 Ghost plants in spike as we speak. 1 very hard to get to has 5 spikes. Come May and June their will be plenty to see and photograph.

So, I'm going to bump this because I really liked it Where is that in the glades? I just moved back to sfl, and would love to go hiking there for both reptiles and orchids. (I could actually drag my wife with me for the flowers). Gorgeous shots

Thanks, I really enjoyed making it. Those photos were taken over the course of 5 years. they range from every section of the glades. I would start with the Fakahatchee Strand.
