Default Lawn "Ornament"

Epipactis helleborine, a species native to Europe that is now widespread in the US grows in my lawn. Admittedly it is a pretty un-lawn like lawn- gets mowed about once a summer, and we didn't mow this part. Better than pink flamingos.

I wouldn't mind a whole field of them instead of a lawn. Lawn mowing is highly overrated as far as I'm concerned.

How nice Connie. Much better then pink flamingos unless they are real. Was very fortunate to see six flamingos flying over head, while returning from a hike. With any luck they are making a come back. Congrats on the new orchids.

Awesome. I think they would go great with my pink flamingos.

These have reached "weed' proportions in my yard. So much so that they now get mowed. There are plenty more in flower beds and other places that don't get mowed.

What a great thing to have in your garden. I wish I had weeds like that!
