I think I read that they're very difficult if you don't give them the right conditions. People who successfully grow these keep them in tanks with nearly constant 100% humidity. I had researched it 2-3 years ago, thinking that I would give them a go. Don't think I will.

I don't get tired of seeing pictures of the Ghosts. I would eventually get one myself and try it alongside my other ghosts and see what happens. Though it might take a while for it to bloom. Dave have you noticed in which orientation according to the sun these plants grow more favorably?? I mean on which side of the tree or branch do the grow better.

Thanks everyone. I have found them to be hard to grow. Although I started with seedling and not established plant. And I live 50 miles from where they grow naturally.

Roly I have been trying to find a pattern with the way they grow but have found they don't seem to have a pattern or preferred side. What I have figured out is they grow mostly on pop ash trees and more times then not they grow on trees that have rot at the top. And are in heavy shade. I have also found that only about 1 in 15 plants bloom. I have come to the realization that even if I could get one to live and bloom it wouldn't be as cool as seeing it in the wild.
