Default Striped Coralroot

Photographed in Chuckanut Mountains south of Bellingham where they are now in bloom:

What great photos Ron!

I find the Coralroots to be really attractive orchids and I love the pictures on your blog of this one in the wild.

Thanks, Rosie and Tindo. I not only think that they are beautiful but the way they grow is fascinating. Do you have them there, Rosie?

I love Coralorrhizas! I mainly see the Western spotted coralroots in my area and love to see the other species and forms.

Thanks for sharing!

You should be able to find the Striped, Vreeland's, Early, Wister's and Western in your area. Ask around a bit and you'll probably find someone who knows where.

No I don't believe so, they are native to the Americas and I don't believe they appear at all in the wild in Europe.

You'll have to come here and see them some time.
