This plant was growing in a ditch, but it was a pretty dry ditch. Nice rich soil though. I have seen them in pine flatwoods, so they do not require wetlands.

Prem could probably tell you a lot more.

Where was this taken....more or less? i.e. in the Miami dade area or out in the glades? I've wanted to shoot these too

These were taken in Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Hobe Sound. PM me if you would like and I will give you the exact location.
