Found these on Friday afternoon out in Everglades National Park. I was hoping to come across other orchids to photograph, but only managed to see the butterflies. Not that I'm complaining because I saw thousands of individual plants, some of which were absolutely huge.

Justin.....how about these....

This is an extremely old growth plant. There are hundreds of pseudobulbs. When in bloom this plant would be a spectacular sight to see.

Very nice, when do they bloom?

And here is an extremely old growth about 5' away on a different tree. The great great great great great granddaddy of the little ones perhaps

I'll be back out there in the next 2 months to shoot them all in bloom. It's surely going to be a sight to see.
