Platanthera dilatata
I've added five new species to the blog:
Platanthera dilata
Native Orchids of the Pacific Northwest and the Canadian Rockies: Bog Candles (Platanthera dilatata)

Really gorgeous.
I love that long shot shownig them all standing up amoungst the greenery. They are really pretty spikes closer up as well. Great pictures, love pictures of these sorts of things in the wild.

Very cool blog entries, as always, Ron! I'm guessing Piperia are closely related to Habenaria/Platanthera?

Prem, they were once classified as Habenarias or Platantheras.
