The Calopogon barbatus (Bearded Grass-Pink / Early Grass Pink) are going to town right now! This is my first time seeing this species in bloom.

Justin, keep an eye out in control-burned areas nearby for Calo. multiflorus.

Thanks for the advice Prem - and nice to hear from you as well! I've been thinking about you but haven't seen you around for a while. I checked out a couple burn areas but haven't yet come across C. multiflorus.

Any other orchids to look for right now? Also, I wanted to talk to you about working together on finding some of the terrestrials this season. I have a pretty good handle on the epiphytes but need to find some of those terrestrials!

Look forward to hearing from you soon.
