I can more easily see the difference between this and the other two.

I agree about it looking like a cloud of insects, that's what the green form made me think of straight away.

I'm inclined to agree with you about the red form being slightly more apealing, but I love the look of both of them.

I like the lip on these. Almost wouldn't know it an orchid.
