Acronia species (red) - Volcán Pichincha, Ecuador

The most amazing day of sightseeing in my life. Several really nice orchids and over 20 hummingbird species. The Acronia were growing on rock ledges along a path. There was a thin covering of moss and some leaf litter that they were growing into. High elevation cloud forest.
