Elleanthus (?) sp. - Ecuador near Otovalo
Beautiful thing. It was growing out of a very wet cliffside in mid-elevation cloud forest. I'm going back to Ecuador for a longer trip in January - I can't wait!

Gorgeous!!! What parts of Ecuador are you going to? I might be traveling there too this coming January.

Wonderful colour. I don't think I would have recognised this as an orchid, is'nt the range of different orchids so wonderful!

I'll be in Cuenca from Dec 28 through Jan 16th, working at Ecuagenera. I really can't wait! It'd be great to meet you in person.
