Default Masdevallia sp. - Ecuador
What was most interesting to me about this one is that it was in blazing hot sun, but the roots were kept cool by the soil it was growing in.
This was near Mindo (west of Quito) in 2005. Very high elevation, full sun, growing terrestrially with grass in thin gritty soil.
