Default Bog Candles

Traveling the last few weeks in BC and Alberta, we saw these native orchids in the mountains along the Yellowhead Highway by the thousands. They were growing in nearly every boggy area.

great picture. it's difficult to get good close-ups of platantheras.

Thanks for taking a look, WhiteRabbit. They are indeed spectacular and we stopped quite a few times for pictures.
