Default Mount Robson Orchids

Last summer for our vacation we did a week's backpacking in Mount Robson Provincial Park in BC. We saw 15 different varieties of native orchids on that trip including the Lady's Slipper shown here (a diary of our trip can be found by following this link: Orchids and Serendipity: Mount Robson Backpacking Trip June 29-July 2, 2009. We now have a new granddaughter in Edmonton and are headed that way again and will spend a week backpacking in the same area. Hope to see some of the same and perhaps a few new orchids along the way.

When you're backpacking everything tastes good, but you do start to dream about steaks and other such things after a week of it.

Even the pictures don't show how beautiful this area is, Rosie. It is incredible.

Be careful or we may just take you up on that offer!
Though if you want a couple of reasons to take us Hubby does make a good photographer himself and is a good camping cook, and I make a good pack Horse and have been know to tickle Trout out of rivers. Oh and we are both wise and cautious enough not to scare of the near by wildlife

Anyway, your blog is really Inspiring and just makes us want to get out more! Hope your next excursion is just as great as that one!
