Last summer for our vacation we did a week's backpacking in Mount Robson Provincial Park in BC. We saw 15 different varieties of native orchids on that trip including the Lady's Slipper shown here (a diary of our trip can be found by following this link:
Orchids and Serendipity: Mount Robson Backpacking Trip June 29-July 2, 2009. We now have a new granddaughter in Edmonton and are headed that way again and will spend a week backpacking in the same area. Hope to see some of the same and perhaps a few new orchids along the way.
