Susie, you OK? I haven't seen you post since yesterday afternoon?
I woke up today with a sharp pain the got worse thru the day, on my ankle. This is my bad ankle the has had injuries in the past. Ice packs and ACE bandage wraps. Which tells me I need to be more active.

I'll be alright Dave. I had that heal crushed into 32 pieces over 20 years ago, and again fractured two bones about a year and half ago. It comes as no surprise and won't last long (the pain that is).

Hey Ants! I'm sorry to hear about your ankle. Hopefully it won't be sore for very long. Yes, I'm fine, surprisingly. Eddie and I set up the badminton net and played that for a while yesterday afternoon. Then I got cleaned up to go out and all of a sudden... I was really tired! Just exhausted. So we ended up just watching TV (mainly sleeping on the couch). That walking through water and trying not to trip is very strenuous, isn't it?
Dave, thanks again for being our tour guide. Eddie and I both really enjoyed it. I can't believe how many alligators we saw AFTER we came out of the swamp. Glad I didn't see them before we went in!
But all in all it was nice. Lots of plants, quite a few flowers, not too many spiders, no moccasins. Knee deep water would have been better, but even the water was nice. However, I did have to wash our clothes and shoes twice to get them clean. Plus, another hour for a major pedicure (just in case you ladies were considering a tromp in the swamp, it takes a while to get your toes presentable again).
I would like to do it again when the ghosts are blooming. Will the water be a lot deeper or just a little bit?

My pleasure. It will depend on how much it rains. I don't think it will be much higher.

If nothing else Susie, you ARE a good sport.
Between my mock gator growls and pushing cypress logs along yer legs, nothing phased you.
I don't know who wore the bigger smile all day, you or me.
