Very Rare Whirled Pogonia

I was looking through old photos when I came across these two, not the best I've ever taken, but this species is rarely seen. The whorled pogonia, Isotria verticillata, is threatened or endangered throughout its range. This plant, I believe, was found in the Blue Hills Reservation which is comprised of 7,000 acres from Quincy to Dedham and Milton to Randolph Massachusetts.
