Default Platanthera Orbiculata

I love this one. About 15 flowers on one spike. Should have had 3 spikes, but I dropped the plant and broke the other 2 off. No scent but very nice to look at. Unusal spur out the back of the flower which tends to keep growing longer till the flower dies. Have yet to get any seed pods of this one most likely due to location. Most likely pollinated by a moth with a long proboscis.

question: have you tried smelling this at night? Many of the green-colored orchids are night-fragrant.

What a shame you knocked off the other spikes. It's still really pretty though, great little flowers
