I just came back from the swamps I wish all you orchid lovers can come you walk in and you can see not 100's but no joking 1,000's of WILD ORCHIDS humidity is at peak your sweating before you even start walking dehydration comes in a heart beat I'll write soon again its hard to type with one finger I've tried with two hands its tough.

Thanks Mike .. I am in the Northeast and too far to follow you through the Florida wilderness looking for Ghosts .. but I can live vicariously through you

Just thought I'd add in that Oak Hill Gardens are having a Mid-June Ghost Orchid sale - I'm not sure how long it goes for but .. what the heck .. in case you lovers of wild orchids would love to have one (or more) of these from Southeast Asia - Oak Hill Gardens

I have been wanting to venutre down to the Everglades since I read "The Orchid Thief". I will have to ask you for some tips on where to go, what to bring, how to dress, etc. I look forward to the pictures too!

Its easy to go in and orchids are every where, sure I'll help any time , all I can say is welcome to the crown jewel or the capital of NORTH AMERICA in Wild orchids I believe theres 44 native wild orchids down here.
