Default Tipularia discolor

Hello all,

I finally have a home with some outdoor space. Over the summer and winter I found several wild orchids and would like to share pictures of at least one. Well, at least the only 1 I found in flower. I did find 3 other species, but none of those were in flower. I identified it as Tipularia discolor, but I am not confident with the ID.

Nice find! Is it growing on your property?

Congrats on the new home too! A home with outdoor space is also something I'd love, but even with both of us earning decent salaries it seems like a dream that will always remain just out of reach.

HI,

Thanks for the ID confirmation. Hey Camille, thanks for the congrats. Hang in there, where there is a will, there is a way. These orchids can all be found on my property.
I had been eyeing this particular property for ten years.
Ten years of waiting patiently and hoping that if ever the opportunity arose, we would be financially ready. Almost didn't happen, but we managed to secure the purchase.
