Help the Fak!!! South Florida volunteers needed

I’m a member of the Friends of Fak and I got this email

I am sharing it without explicit permission but I know they want all the help they can get. I am 50/50 on attending due to another commitment but I’m trying





FOF Members,

A volunteer work day is planned for Saturday, 24th April.

Start time: 9:00 AM
End time 2:00 PM or earlier

Where is the meeting point at 9 AM ?
Parking site area of the Big Cypress Bend Boardwalk on US-41.
Park Manager Allen Murray will meet the volunteers who will work under his direction.

What is the project?
Clearing the overgrown pathway to Heron Lake that is to the East of the Boardwalk parking area. No special skill required. Tools will be provided.

Risk involved:
Exposure to Poison Ivy and Brazilian Pepper.

Dress accordingly, bring water and lunch.
