Where did all of the OG s swampers disappear to
Question Where did all of the OG s swampers disappear to

Its a shame they all seemed to have left orchid board,
i regularly go to crew sanctuary and the fak,

fl hiker vanished
prem vanished
swamper vanished
justin vansished
ghost hunter vanished

and a couple of others

have you seen the old threads where they organized their orchid searching trips

i miss their high quality uploads of fak etc...

out of curiosity does anybody still hike around the fak region in south Florida

the swamp beds are dry so i got some good photos i will post later.

hi- i do, or rather will again soon(ish) i cant wait to take my girls but having a newborn has really thrown a wrench in my swamp exploring LOL

also, its weird but a LOT of my orchid searching was done with people who were hunting. I dont really like to hunt unless i need food and since i live near stores i dont often need food BUT i do respect and appreciate their choices are different from mine etc.

anyways, if you find any one who does python hunting, gator tagging (or hunting), and any one who is into birding, you can find folks who are excited to jump into sloggy water and look around with you!!

I miss those members too. I love seeing orchids in habitat.

Lol. There are orchids well off the preserve too and I think you can catch pythons in the zoo they are so eager to eradicate them

I also have a buddy who is a photographer. He’s drag me out predawn for star shots and I’d make him endure the heat of morning to look for orchids

Well, it's hard to say what some of these older members have going on with their personal lives, but the last I heard of one of them - that person was not in good health (according to the poster himself)...so, I'm not really sure.

Try sending them a private message if their account allows for it and see if you can schedule a trip with any of them.
