Another takeout for me is how moist it is. The low cloud makes an appearance on cue in the afternoon and it carries a surprising amount of moisture.

It's easy to forget how much water most orchids get in habitat, but it's important to remember. Problems growing them are mostly related to root suffocation, improper temperatures and low humidity, not overwatering.
