It's possible, but the location seems odd. This was in the front yard of my cabin next to a rock formation pool. I went several places deep in the cloud forest, this felt much more manicured, ha!

nice work! the power of the internet strikes again! have you cross referenced to validate the the id? just curious, it’s a weird but cool foliage plant

That ID looks great! The more great part of this is that inaturalist account is exactly where I photographed my orchid. It very well could be the same plant 2 years later.

I stayed in a cabin outside EVACC and this orchid was on a landscape tree next to an outdoor pool.

Not much to add except that I did some research on Barro Colorado Island about 21 years ago (critters rather than plants). It is likely that you could get a species list from them or even get in contact with an English speaking botanist there. Barro Colorado | Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute
