Talking Orchid Show Score

I was at the opening of the Windward Orchid Society Show today and they had some really great stuff! On display was a HUGE Catt amethystoglossa from H&R that took an AM and a CCE (I believe) and it was just amazing!! Anywho, I also picked up a Phal Hilo Lip 'Cat Nip', B nodosa x Enc cordigera (sorry for the fuzzy pics)and a Dend Nestor in bloom, as well as a small Angraecum sesquipedale (not shown). The Dend Nestor is not nearly as glossy in real life as it appears in the pic and is actually quite dark. All in all, a great score!!

Oh they are lovely! That phal called 'Cat Nip' is so appropriate! Orchids are like cat nip to us! Great haul!

You picked out some gorgeous orchids! And what a great bonus with the nodosa! I wonder what makes that one have a scent during the day? How cool!

Excellent haul
I love the extreme contrast of that particular Hilo Lip .. Outstanding
and you can't beat the fragrance of the B. Nodosa .. it puts a smile upon your face even makes your nostrils grin Ahhhhh ...
and who can resist a fuzzy dendro ..
