Rlc Williette Wong 'The Best'
This is the first bloom for this plant. Just one flower, but it's huge, almost 7 inches. It's a strange thing, tho, how the sheath is so tall that it's longer than the stem on the flower, which made the flower open facing almost directly upward, as you can see in the third picture. But that's okay. It's still a very nice flower, and maybe next time will be even better.

Update on this plant!
The plant had two new growths in sheath, but one was several weeks behind the other one. Now the second flower has opened, and it is much better than the first. The new flower has much better form, and it has the yellow eyes on the lip (which were missing from the first flower), and it opened facing the right direction. It is also huge, at 7 inches. I'm very pleased with this one. It has been super easy to grow, and it has done very well under lights. Not all the pictures I've seen of this plant have the red flares on the sepals and petals, and I'm glad mine does.
I also like the size of this plant. I've seen it occasionally referred to as "compact", and I don't think I would call it that. I think it's a little bigger than compact, but it is certainly smaller than a lot of the standard large flowered hybrids. I think it's a great plant.

Great updated pic. Was wondering where the eyes were.

There's definitely just one plant. I've had it since it was a tiny little seedling-sized mericlone. The first flower I posted was that plant's first bloom ever, and it seems that often a plant's first bloom is of lower quality than subsequent blooms will be, and I think that is probably the case here. The first one was for practice, and she got it right the second time

A very nice job of growing your very healthy looking plant.
I remember having one several years ago and I loved the bright color combination.
