my thinking is that I can go longer without watering the big ones....so I can take more frequent runs in the 5th wheel, lol....the cattleyas hang from the ceiling, and I will put the little plants on the floor.....

paul, I had one of those tut's, but it seemed more of a 'muddying' of the color....I am just nuts about this red!

That is true. I probably watered mine, in large red lava rock/basket pots, once a week unless it was summer and did not rain (I always put them outside during the summer).

Thanks again for sharing. If I had not seen this one at a meeting, your post would have convinced me to acquire it. I am pretty excited about my own flowers...the buds are getting larger by the day.

Wow, there's an eye popper. Beautiful. I got a couple of large ones at first then went to the smaller ones so I could have more, now I want to go back to the larger ones again. Those big blooms just can't be beat. Does ones tastes ever stop changing?
