Phal lueddemanniana and Haraella retrocalla
Took a few shots of my orchids tonight, like every other night... I don't know why I need to document everything with images every day lol I rarely share photos of blooms, but really like this one of my luedemanniana and Haraella mounted together so thought I'd share. Plus, this mount smells really nice, the lemony retrocalla scent really compliments the sweat luedemanniana fragrance! Enjoy!

A beautiful combination. Would it be possible to add a ferny, feathery, component to compliment the stocky leaves. Just from a design standpoint...the combo you have now is exquisite.

For now what I'm doing is encouraging the natural moss to grow by keeping it extra moist, which is working well so far, the dried Spagmum moss is slowly being covered up by natural live moss.
I like the idea of added fern, I'll see what I can come up with - would need to be something with extremely low light needs as would be shaded by the Phal. My problem is that my setup is already so compact and full that I'm not sure I have space for non-orchid vegetation, hence why I started adding minis to my mounts that had some space/light to accommodate them.

You just have a nice situation there. And as you know, in designing a garden/arrangement of any size/kind, contrast in texture is pleasing to the eye.
