Phones nowadays seem to treat all photos as landscape orientation. Open the photo in an image manipulation program on your computer. Rotate it 90 degrees in any direction, save it and close it. Now open it again, rotate to the proper orientation, save it and close it again. It will probably upload properly.

Stop it, just stop it, I'm tired of people saying this one is easy to bloom. Mine hate me I'm sure it doesn't help that at the moment mine are very cold. I put them with my Masdies because I thought they needed more humidity. How do you grow yours? I clearly need some help.

I bought one and then found out IOSPE says it's hot to cool growing. I have the hot and it's cool now. But mine is only a seedling.

Shannon, is yours big enough? I don't know how big they need to be.

From what I've read, Assam (where it comes from) has a really nice climate. It's pleasantly warm in the day and cool at night. This plant grows in leaf litter on rocks or on the forest floor.

Mine is almost no care. It sits on an east window sill fall winter and spring. There is even a furnace vent directly below it so I'm not sure how high humidity would stay this time of year.

It goes into a south window in summer when my cattlyas go outside and we have average 75+% humidity. Other than that I water before it fully dries out but it rarely even gets fertilized.

Can't say I know any tricks, my foliage is floppy and unimpressive, a friend asked if it was "dormant" lol right before it bloomed as it looks perhaps less than perky.

Oop's I forgot this post. rbarata has given me some help with this one, thanks. I have it in seedling mix I got from Kelleys Korner. I did move them from in the garage back upstairs. It's very cold down there now. So they will still have around in the 70''s during the day time and mostly 60's at night.

Maybe there not as bad as I think if your leaves don't look so good. Perhaps the leaves on these never look good.

I don't know if mine are big enough for sure because I don't know how big they get. One of mine is only one growth but the other one has 3. I would think it is almost big enough. It's trying to start some new growths so maybe I'm just not giving it time.
