My Paph Leeanum (Paphiopedilum insigne x Paphiopedilum spicerianum) is blooming for the third season under my care.
Easy to grow (under my conditions), in spite of the high temps and low HR in summer (28ºC /20%).
In winter gets as low as 12ºC with HR=60%.
North window with bright indirect light (unobstructed window).
Keep it more or less moist and water as you see the top medium layer get dry.

As this hybrid only gives one bloom per season, this is not just one plant but two in the same pot.

One more thing...last blooming season, the flowers lasted for more than 4 months.

Very nice, good that it is doing well for you. These blooms always look so exotic.

It's a really nice flower--and the leaves are spectacular! That's a happy plant!

Another primary that shows the influences of both parents to very good effect. Well grown plant, too.

Gorgeous orchid and great photos, especially the close ups show off the delicate beauty of the flower!

Thank you, my friends.
I just gave them water and took photos, nothing more.

If it gets too big for that window, I think in your climate it should do fine outside... your outdoor temperature and humidity ranges are pretty much the same as mine, and I grow it outside with no problem. It is a wonderful plant! I think that it is capable of blooming more than once in a year... looking at the record for mine, it has done that some years but not all.

It sits on a large window..it's packed with large plants so it seems small.
Outside there are certain seasons that it may not resist, winter with bellow freezing temps at night and summer too hot and dry. Inside I can get temps 20 F cooler than outside (without the A/C on) so...
Mine never bloomed twice...maybe under certain circunstances.
