Oncidium Sweet Sugar
My favorite Oncidium.
We had a lot of rain this summer so I did not have a chance to fertilize it this year. But it still bloom and bloom better than last year.

A reduction in feeding (nitrogen, specifically) may be exactly why it bloomed so well.
I think we, as a group, tend to believe that fertilizer "drives" the various processes in plants, rather than accepting that nutrition has more of a support function.

I have it for more than 7 years.
But I divided it a couple time. Last time I gave one divided to my friend and she got a nice bloomed with lot of flowers after 2 years under her care.
