Default Bud watching

It seems when we get into discussions about lights, I get the impression that my lights are inferior. So, in order to vindicate my choice here are some bud watch pictures.

The 1st is Den spectabile, you can see nubs starting, also an Oncidium Volcano Queen, next an Epi ciliare with an Epi ellipticum. The third is a Dialalia Snowflake 'Northland' and my half dead Bulbophyllum Lovely Elizabeth, which is coming around. The last picture is just someone who bears watching. Also, all my den Phals are budded up as are a couple OncidiumTwinkles and all my phals are spiking! Sorry for not being more accurate about my nomenclature...today I don't care. I am just so pleased. The only thing that could make me happier is a foofy catt ( and it's raining). Thanks all, you have made me a better grower!

He's quite the guy. He shredded my $40.00 Bangkok Sunset and framed his brother. 🤔

That is too funny! Did the orchid survive?

How exciting to have so many blooms in your future!
Your Bulbo looks like it is recovering nicely. I really like the Lovely Elizabeth but the tank is full. Of course, the vendor who selfed the Bulbo carunculatum says the 'fragrance' is pretty bad so I will probably have room in the tank one day. :|

Bangkok Sunset survived, although shredded. The irony is that I waited for months while Kristen ordered them. She sent me a beautiful plant. ES and Kim helped me repot it and fertilize it and it was thriving! Then Nathan and I spent the night snuggled on the sectional...sometime during the night he got up and shredded it...and then came back to sleep. It's like plant adultry. (He is so spoiled).

Back to topic. I have been drooling over everyone's pictures. Now everything here is popping at once! Thanks for looking.

Yay buds - good job! I, too, especially love that last one. They can be stinkers sometimes but life would be boring without our furry kids.

Lucky you to have so many flowers to look forward to this fall and early winter. Can't wait to see pictures of the Volcano Queen flowers. I picked up one of those over the summer. I like your cat, too!

Never brag. Today I found an infestation of aphids that wasn't there yesterday. Spray, spray, spray and they're still walking around. Can't use mega death, as bil says, in the house so, it's now been oil and soap. So, yes, I'll post Blooms if they survive the battle!

That cat's gonna eat your plants. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but one day it will realize its species and your orchids are toast. Then they'll all be CATleyas!!!
