Default Mostly minis this week

I had some extra time again this weekend to take pictures of this week's new flowers. I'm pretty happy on several fronts with these; one is a new arrival that I'm pleased to have and one is a Phal which was mouse-attacked.

Aerangis fatuosa is, in fact, my most recently arrived plant. The pure white of the flower combined with the small size made it hard to photograph.

Gastrochilus calceolaris is a first bloom. The buds seemed to take a year to open.

Phal. Youngholm Sunkist is a mini I've had a while. It wanted to bloom back in about October or November but the mice here ate both spikes; they left one node on each, and each node has re-spiked.

Phal. thailandica is a first-time bloomer. If Youngholm Sunkist is a mini then thailandica is a micro!

Paph. Raisin Pie was a gift from my sister. At one time I thought it was about to die but it's feeling better now. This is my only Paph.

I meant to take a pic of my two big foot Phals together last week! The smaller flower comes from the larger plant.

Gastrochilus calceolaris and Phal. Youngholm Sunkist are my favorites but, obviously, they are all beautiful.

Oooh beautiful! I've looked at Gastrochilus calceolaris at Louisiana Orchids a few times yet have not purchased one. I love those little flowers. Congratulations on all the nice blooms, the Paph is gorgeous!
