Default Phalaenopsis from a patient of mine

I work as an RN, and have a couple phals that my patients gave me. I always smile when these bloom, I've had the pink one for 5 years and the yellow/pink veined one about 2.

My mom was an RN, really thanks for your work on behalf of the so many you help!

and lovely gifts... guess they knew you like orchids?

the dark pink/purple one is such a standard but enduring kind of phal, always elegant... great growing!

You must be a fine nurse to receive such gifts from patients!

Thanks everyone! The purple one is alittle rough. Had it at my parents place for awhile, and I think they were scared of rotting it after I gave them instructions on watering! Haha! Still a regular bloomer.

These were gifts that were given to your patients I presume?

Yes, they had them on their windowsills, and when I discharged them from the hospital they offered me the plants

Great patients or you're an excellent caregiver or perhaps a little of both! Very nice plants there.
