Wow! In case other orchidists don't know, the big white radially symmetric flowers are the epiphytic cactus Epiphyllum, most likely E. oxypetalum. Do they have a nocturnal fragrance?

the flower only last one night. it begin to bloom around 9:00PM and tomorrow morning you will see the flower all close up. that's all. But you can cut out the flower and make a healthy soup

Stunning. Tell me why ( hee, hee ,hee a little hummer ) my plants don't look like that if I didn't take care of them for 2 months? They would all die and speaking of dying that medusa is to die for. I use to have one of those cactus plants but I could never get it to bloom so I dumped it.

They need a lot of fertilizer, and regular watering, to bloom. If they dry out during the summer for too long they won't bloom. And it's not common for a plant that small to flower.

Thanks!
My DH set up a timer watering system so they get water every day and they may love that set up.
