Dendrobium auriculatum
I was watering today and,.... What is that nice smell? I looked around and didn't see anything. (It wasn't my cologne.) I thought, Where have I smelled that before? I looked at Dendrobium auriculatum. It was hiding a flower behind another orchid. (It's a small plant and a smallish flower.)
I got this in mid May from Seattle Orchids. It was in bloom at the time. That cane finished blooming. This one was growing at the time. The flower is 1.5" across. This is the best photo I could get with my phone.
I think this would make a good parent for small Dendrobium hybrids.
