Spathoglottis kimballiana
I like this one:
It is a successive bloomer. But, IOSPE says that it can have more than one open at once.
I do not consider yellow to be my favorite color, but I do seem to favor yellow flowers.
They kind'a brighten up the day.
IOSPE says that they should be 3" flowers.
This one is only 2-1/2".
I can live with it.
I could also handle this one turning into a weed orchid to compete with the Spathoglottis plicata weeds.

I love these plants because they do so well in my area and are very easy to grow. I have a three gallon container bulging with growth but my plant doesn't bloom until later in the summer. Unlike you, yellow flowers are my favorite. Especially the bright lemon yellow.

Mine has a second flower open now and is threatening to open a third. A very pleasant surprise. I was expecting it to flower much like the bamboo orchid, one flower at a time.
The guy I got it from had a few more of them. I'm thinking about going back to see if he still, has them. If not, I've found another local source that says they also have them. I would like to propagate these into a large group planting quickly, ... shades of instant gratification.

Spath. kimballiana Update:
OK,
This continued to bloom with up to 3 blossoms open at one time.
Although, the oldest would begin fading within the same day the third opened.
It continued to put out 22 blossoms before quitting.
About 2/3's of the way through that inflorescence's life, a second inflorescence began growing, not quite as vigorous as the 1st.
It is now with it's 11th flower, and looks as if it may put out 1 or 2 more before it also quits.
Then, I just noticed that a 3rd inflorescence is growing.
It may not bloom before the 2nd has quit.
But, it won't be far behind.
The 1st flower showed in late June.
It's looking like this will end up being in bloom for over 6 months, or more if it puts out a 4th inflorescence.
It looks to be meeting my criteria for a good performer.
All I need to do now is to grow it bigger, so it can have masses of flowers open a one time.
