This is the first I have seen it bloom but yep, the colors get lighter as the bloom ages. I hope that one day it has many clusters of blooms at one time. It is prettier then I thought it would be.

That is a beautiful plant! I love how tropical it looks.

Can you tell us a bit about how you care for it? Conditions, watering and fertilizing, media, etc.

I have it in bark only and it's positioned outside where it only gets morning sun. I am in south Florida. I only water when it feels completely dry. As for fertilizer, I haven't given it any yet. Yes, it's very tropical and there are two more buds left to open. Once they bloom, I will repost a picture.
