Vanilla orchid blooming
My vanilla is blooming. I've pollinated about 20 flowers so far. Still lots more coming on.

The vanilla vine is growing on a rock wall, which probably gets too hot. It gets several hours of sun. As with my other orchids--it grows more in spite of me, not because of me! And in Hawaii, of course.

I would love to see them as they grow and then when ripe. Wow it sure does take them a long time. They intrigue me. I wish I had a green house then I would try one.
