Hello, my friends

As usual, this is the time of the year when I post some flowers from my modest collection.
This time, some of my cymbidiums that flower earlier this year and my dendrobium nobile.

My cymbs first…
This one is a faithful bloomer but this time it has only two spikes (last year I got 7 or 8). Flowers are a bit damaged probably due to cold.

This one, 9 years after I bought a pbulb in Madeira Island, it's flowering for the first time. It's a huge plant, the biggest spike has more than 1 meter long (39 inches) and the whole plant has roughly 2 meters in diameter (78 inches) and 1 meter height. My daugther says it looks like a tree.

Now my kitchen window has something more than sightseeing…

Now my den…
A year ago it was in this condition… a heavy infestation of mealy bugs.

I was considering to trash it until silken said “As long as there is green on them, I fight for their lives! “. This sentence was all I needed to hear…

Now, it looks like this...lots of flowers and three new canes growing. Some flowers are in a two year old cane and an isolated one is blooming in a cane from last year.

Sorry for the huge amount of pics…

Next are my phals, as soon as they bloom.

Well done!
I'm envious of the Cyms.
I bought a supposed warm tolerant hybrid at last year's show.
I'm hoping it will bloom for me this year, probably next Aug. or Sept.
In the meantime, I'll look at your pics.

All Gorgeous blooms! I'm so glad you did such a good recovery on that Dendrobium. It is now thanking you!

Thank you, my friends

I have to find a way to make the three new canes of the den grow vertically. Although healty, it is not very appealing at sight 'cause the canes grew to the sides due to the window light
