I bought some of these no less than twenty years ago and planted them out in the garden. They still come up and bloom every year.

CambriaWhat: I believe it! I got these guys from a local farmer's market, and the vendor said they're pretty much weeds once they get into the ground, they're so prolific and low maintenance. He had pots upon pots of them for sale.
