New for 2016 because my one from last year bloomed for me, so I wanted to try another.

Yes I left mine out on the porch last year, sort of forgot it and it got into the low 30's. I didn't mean to leave it out to get that cold. I have to get a pot so the wind doesn't blow it over time and time again. It had a sort of bad summer but came out better than I thought. It is finally just starting a new growth. I'm happy

Yeah, my big one kind of got blown over a couple of times, too. Then there was the time the cat knocked it over I just kept on putting bark back in, dunk it in the water barrel and set it back up.

Lovely, I would want it too. Mine sits in a small plant stand outside all summer and often gets blown over too! But it bloomed 2 big spikes for me just like always I let mine get close to freezing also in fall and then they still need good light when they come in for the winter. They are pretty hungry feeders in the summer also-or so I have read.

Yes when I re-potted mine I put slow release fert in it. I am going to do that this summer as well. And try and find a big heavy pot to put it in. If I could find a heavy plant stand I would like to put it more up in the air but the wind here can be brutal. I got all the re-potting sheets from Cym Lady and they are much more heavy feeders than most other orchids.
