Trisetella hoeijeri took me some time to figure out the issue with blasting buds, I did bloom this plant fully only once last year and ever since it sent at least 50 spikes bud buds did die at very early stage. It was mounted on branch and sticking out from mossy vase. Most likely humidity was the issue, and since I did move it to partially closed glass orb sharing the space with never ending bloomer Masdevallia erinacea, it immediately sent new spike that just opened without any issues.

It was lonely! Have admired this one for a long time at various sites but the asking price turned me off.I'm slightly more confident at growing some minis so never say never!Very crane-like,delicate and peaceful.

Dea they are pricey but worth it. I find them very easy to grow, pretty much as easy as Masdevallia erinacea, and frequent bloomers, if you keep humidity constant.

Oh me too, I have wanted one for a long time now. Humidity and price has stopped me also. I can't keep up with it in my Masties with a humidifier right over the top.

That is just to precious.
