Great color on that. There aren't many hybrids using the Ada species. Clearly they may be underused.

Adgm. is Adaglossum (Ada x Odontoglossum), but if Adgm. is new to you there isn't much point in learning it now. Neither Ada nor Odontoglossum is current, and this hybrid is now Brassostele (Bst.)(Brassia x Rhynchostele).

It has been reclassified as Brassostele (Bst.) tarantula 'sweet orange'. I don't know how long ago that was. The cross is Brassia aurantiaca X Brassostele Summit according to google. Still havering problems posting more than one picture at a time. Posting them from pictures in my computer but will not let me upload more than one at a time or attach more than one to text. Will keep trying some time I will learn.

Thanks, I guess. That means the Odontoglossums I now have are no longer Odontoglossums but Rhynchostele ??

Most are probably considered Oncidium now, dating back to 2008. Rhynchostele was established in 1993 for a fairly small group split from Odontoglossum. Rst. bictoniensis is probably the most commonly seen Rhynchostele, and most commonly used in hybrids.

Don't worry about not keeping up with name changes. From my observations over 40+ years, several generations of orchid growers have to die off before people stop complaining about 'new' names. I knew people who still insisted all slipper orchids were Cyps nearly 100 years after Paphiopedilum was published.

Looks like candied orange peel.

Be sure the cursor is where you want the photos to show up in the composition box. Click on Go Advanced below the composition box. Click on Manage Attachments. After a little while a new window opens up. Maybe it's opening behind other things? In this window there's a whole list of Choose file buttons. Don't hit Upload until you've chosen all the files you want to upload. Once you've chosen all the files, hit the Upload button to upload all of them at once. Does that work?

I love the color on this. Nice to hear it's scented. Time to go shopping for one!
