My lone anceps has only bloomed once so far, with a single bloom, and the spike wasn't crazy long - but the ones I have seen in bloom at shows seem to have quite long spikes.
Anceps are known for having fairly long spikes. I had one and the spike was several feet for sure. I currently have a hybrid with one parent of anceps and the spike is 1 1/2 ft. on a first bloom. So the potential to be taller is probably there.
All are show stoppers but Eplc. Butterfly Kisses is my favorite. I had the plant for several years and always looked forward to seeing it bloom. It succumbed to scale before I was aware of a problem.
