Default SPIKES and bloom

I was on vacation for a week. I came home to My miltoniopsis in BLOOM!! I had not Idea what the blooms would look like. I thought they would be white. Turns out they are that cheerful light yellow. I love it. It smells good too. I did not stake the spikes. I like how the miltoniopsis hang. I bought this plat a year ago it was in ok shape but left to die. I bought it just in time. Because all the others did die. I got it on discount at the Grocery outlet of all places for $4. I wish I bought 2 but it was my first non phal.

So that was exciting. But the best part is My spider orchids that I abused when I first got it. Well I guess it is saying thank you now. It has a spike I am so happy. I was about to give up on it. It took a full year to get a spike out of this one. It was my second Non Phal orchid.

I have so many Spikes I am so happy!!! I found my green thumb it only took 10 years. But I got it.

My miltoniopsis bloom. I am most proud of this plant.

Here it is again 5 spikes!!! I just let her grow how she wants.

Spider orchids spike. This was a big surprise.

Yellow NOID Onc in spike this some is too cute and smells so good.

I also have 2 Zygo hybrids in spike one about to bloom. I guess my plants were happy with their vacation in a small green house outside this summer.

You're so lucky, those are hard enough to keep alive around here let alone bloom them. The scents are wonderful, that's for sure.

Thanks. I got some wrinkly leaves this miltoniopsis. I fixed that by watering more and changing the medium to a peattmoss mix. I think cooler temps are key to keeping these guys happy that and water.
