Bc Ann Hamilton
Bc Ann Hamilton (Brassavola nodosa Maj x Remar. Cattleya aclandiae) from Mickeys Orchids. This is another of "very few" crosses I do grow past 5+ years. I have never ever EVER made Brassavola nodosa bloom - that B..CH is gone from my balcony! - but this one I totally love, the color depends very much on the light level, I have parts of the plant in shade and the blooms are nearly white, and parts of the plant exposed to direct sun - high light level produced this bloom color, very pinkish. It is vigorous grower, and blooms many times a year.

They are so beautiful! Your pictures are wonderful. I had to laugh at the last one, I must admit I was thinking "where's your quarter?" And there it was

Dea I still keep "a few" large plants that I like, especially these monsters I do grow for 5+ years and they are already attached to balcony wall anyways :-)
