Part of 45yr. old Paph. concolor
This is part of a plant I purchased 45 yrs. ago from Great Lakes Orchids. This years blooming sent up 8 spikes, six of them in bloom and seven of them bi-floral. Nothing special about culture except I do give it more light than commonly accepted for Paphs. and tend to run it it on the dryer side of evenly moist.
I actually had one larger than this a couple of years back ( another piece of the same plant) but had to break it up when it came time to repot. This one still seems nice and tight so with some luck I'll just be able to pot it up.

Are you saying it would do better there or wouldn't stand a chance? I'm thinking the latter.

Yes! They usually judge on display and size not flower quality. Plants are judged out of bloom aswell!
