Vascostylis Pine River x Ascocenda Fuchs Joy
Had this one since a tiny seedling. First bloom last year on a small spike. This year it is outdoing itself.
Winter indoors, south windowsill. Summer sun until 2PM.
It looks best in the sunlight...kind of dull in shade.

I got it in 2009.
I'm afraid my experience may not be the best to use as an example.
It was my 2nd attempt at a Vanda type orchid and I tried several potting styles and cultural conditions before it started to thrive. It was a slow process until I placed it in a wooden basket with lava rock. About that time I started using a kelp product and the root growth really increased. Putting it outdoors in the morning sun improved things too.
