Pot. Laurie Anne "dark splash"
Every time this lady blooms for me, which seems to at least twice a year, it fills my greenhouse with the best scent. I never recommend orchids to people but if I had to....

It's gorgeous! Where did it come from? I can't find a registered name for just Laurie Anne.

I actually bought two from a local grower here in central Florida. The tag for both just says -
Potinara Laurie Anne "dark splash". I'd be more than happy to look into it with the guy I usually go to and let you know if u would like.

Thanks for the info. I won't be able to buy one since I am in Canada. I looked in OW which should be updated with all the registered names. There is a Pot. Laurie Anne Milne registered in 2013 by Akatsuka in Hawaii with no pictures, so not sure if it is the same one. I would have tried to find one in Canada or from vendors when they come to Canada. I would appreciate knowing if it is actually registered or perhaps missing the last part Milne if you will be there in the near future. But don't go thru a lot of hassle to find this out for me

Thanks so much! It is gorgeous. Those spots and splash are unusual.

I have a BLC Laurie anne dark splash. Maybe it is the same thing. Its kind of spindly with double leaves. I got it as a seedling. Its growing well but has not graced me with a bloom. Nice to know it could be fragrant.

I have a Lc. Lory Ann 'Dark Splash' that I got from Lowes as a bag baby. Has the same bloom as yours. Perhaps they are one in the same?
